Location #3

Finally we have location #3.  This was in the same parking lot only a good bit higher than the last shot.  It was also just after sundown.  I didn’t have a tri-pod with me so I had to brace the camera on top of a post in the parking lot.  I think it was a two second exposure.  Remember, deep breath and squeeze the trigger.  After we finished up in this spot we we all cold and tired and hungry.  So Scott recommended Bubba Gumps for a late dinner.  Good times!

So if you go to a very touristy location this summer just try to get some shots from different angles.  Move off to the side from where everyone else is shooting.  And don’t get discouraged if you see a bunch of people in the spot you wanted to shoot from.  We used to have a saying in school:  “it hasn’t been shot until you have shot it”.  So very true.

There’s something so familiar about this and yet I can’t quite put my finger on it. Oh yeah, if you are eating at Bubba Gumps, watch out for those onion ring orders, they are HUGE!

    • OMG yes that was the biggest pile or spear of onion rings ever. Thankfully Scott shared those with us. I think your cholesterol would sky rocket after eating just a few. Better take your Lipitor before entering the restaurant 🙂
