Empty Boardwalk

Ah, the boardwalk.  Empty?  Well at night in November there aren’t many brave souls who walk up and down the boardwalk.  This wasn’t shot at 2 in the morning it was about 8:00 pm.  Another thing that I love about nighttime photography is all the different lighting conditions that you get.  From moon light to florescent to tungsten and sodium vapor.  You also get wild colors from neon signs  and business signs.  So when you are looking at your final images don’t worry too much about color correction and be very careful about using the eye dropper tool in Photoshop.  If I were to try and make the bench in the foreground perfectly white everything else would be thrown way off.  So don’t worry about it.  Just shoot. And enjoy the peaceful, darkness and calming crash of the waves.  But remember to bundle up cause baby it’s cold outside.
