The Revell Effect

So last week my good buddy Jeff Revell made a very small mention on his World Famous Blog about my small humble blog and the cool lightning shots that I had captured.  I guess Jeff has a whole bunch of people that follow his blog.  I got 239 hits that day which is about 210 more than I usually get.  So in return you should go check out Jeff’s blog and then immediately return here to see my next post.  Thanks Jeff!!!

Remember my post from yesterday?  You know, the one at night with the moon in the clouds and the surf crashing on the beach and going all the way up to the fence.  Well this is the same vantage point a few days later.  See I told you that the water is usually a little ways out.  And in this shot you can see all the pilings going out into the water.  Anyway I just love the peacefullness of an empty beach.  Just a few people walking and looking for sea shells.  The sky is a beautiful blue with just a few clouds.  So the water is probably way too cold to go swimming since it was in November and the air temperature was probably around fifty degrees but still what a beautiful scene.  I can’t wait to go back and try out some HDR. You’ll have to wait until after November to see those.

I've been photographing beautiful clouds and skies and landscapes for 35 years. So that's about all you'll see here. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
