Hilo Waterfalls

Last week I showed you a rainbow from the wonderful island of Hilo, Hawaii.  Today I have two shots of some waterfalls we flew over.  This was after we flew over the volcano.  I wish we had gotten down closer to these falls but I realize that, that would make it harder to get the entire falls into the shot.  I was actually not up against the window.  I was in the middle with people on either side of me so shooting was limited.  Anyway it’s a really beautiful area with all the lush vegetation.  I think I mentioned in the rainbow post that Hilo gets about 180 inches of rain a year so there is lots of water everywhere.  Of course these pictures make me want to just jump right in and let the falls crash over me on a hot summer day like today.  Ahhhh refreshing !!!
