Crystal Clear Sunrise

Here we go from a foggy sunset to a crystal clear sunrise.  This was shot from my hotel in Rehoboth Beach.  The Boardwalk Plaza Hotel which by the way is a fabulous place to stay if you like Victorian decor and superb service.  Anyway this shot is pretty easy to make.  Get a long lens, a steady tripod,  a third floor room with a balcony and oh yeh,  a perfectly clear sky.  That’s the tough part.  Usually you get a little haze or some clouds in the sky.  You also have to get up early to watch the sun crest over the horizon.  I think the night before this there had been rain which would definitely clear the sky of any haze.  Remember that one tip.  The morning after a good rain or snow will almost always produce very clear air.  Which in turn will bump up the contrast automatically for you.   So all you early birds reading my blog as soon as you are done reading, grab your cameras and head outside.  So that’s it, pretty simple huh!
