Dinner Cruise

What a nice dinner cruise.  What a view! And it only cost a couple thousand dollars.  Well it was for a week long Inside Passage, Alaskan cruise.  We would usually eat at the 8:00pm sitting and dinner would last about two hours.  So we would be sitting right next to the window during the sunset which was around 10:00pm.  The light would finally fade away around 11:00pm.  I always like it when clouds like these scatter across the sky early or late in the day.  The water was also very calm that evening which is typical for the Inside Passage.  If you are afraid of cruising because of rough water, try the Inside Passage first.  It is supposed to one of the calmest cruises. So why do I like this picture?  Water, mountains, clouds and a sunset to boot.  It doesn’t get much better than this.

I've been photographing beautiful clouds and skies and landscapes for 30 years. So that's about all you'll see here. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
